Access to the venue
We will be happy to host the 4th UIC World Congress on Rail Training in this amazing building: designed and intended as the railway station of German Emperor Wilhelm II and his entourage, the Kaiserbahnhof is today a UNESCO world heritage site and is used as conference and training center for management executives from all divisions and business units of Deutsche Bahn Group.

How to reach Potsdam
By train
There is an hourly service from Berlin from the stations “Berlin Ostbahnhof”, “Berlin
Hauptbahnhof”, “Berlin Zoologischer Garten” with the Regional Express RE 1 in
the direction of Brandenburg to stop Potsdam Park Sanssouci.
Other trains stop at “Potsdam Hauptbahnhof”. From there, please take a taxi to the Kaiserbahnhof (approx. 10 minutes).
By air
The nearest international airport is Berlin Tegel Airport, 32 km from the center of Potsdam. The other international airport of Berlin is Berlin Schönefeld, 39 kms from Potsdam.
From the airport to the Kaiserbahnhof
From Tegel: take the bus 109 to Tegeler Weg/S Jungfernheide. Once arrived at Telegel Weg, head north to reach 8 Max-Dohrn Strasse. At Junfernheide station, take the S-Bahn 42 to Westkreuz. At Westkreuz, take then the S-Bahn 7 to Potsdam main station.
From Schönefeld: the RB 22 S-Bahn Train goes straight to Potsdam main station in an hour time.
